Welcome to Lima!
Peru, land of the Incas and other ancient cultures, is a country full of diverse traditions, with an astounding geography made up of three natural regions: the coast, the mountains, and the jungle. Our country is characterized by having a privileged gastronomy, fruit of the naivety of our ancestors and the miscegenation that defines us.
Lima, our capital, is located on the central coast, on the shores of the Pacific Ocean, surrounded by the coastal desert and spread over the valleys of the Lurín, Chillón, and Rímac Rivers. It was founded by the Spanish as City of the Kings (Ciudad de los Reyes) in 1535 and is the cradle of the Caral Civilization, which, with over 5,000 years of history, is the oldest civilization in the Americas.
Today, our capital, Lima, comprises numerous hotels, restaurants, shopping centers, art galleries, cafes, casinos, evening performances, bars, and nightclubs, making it a city that stands out for its modernity.
Below you will find information about the meeting that we have the pleasure of hosting in our city, as well as some useful information and tips.
We hope you have a pleasant stay in Lima.
Enjoy!
